Finally, Kishi Bashi came to Boston and played at The Sinclair. The much anticipated show that was cancelled due to Nemo Thundersnow arrived last night. What an amazing show. I kept finding myself with a huge grin on my face while listening to the melodic and upbeat tunes.
Even when Kishi Bashi did a solo, he sounded as if a whole orchestra was playing right beside him. He ended the set with a perfect song called Manchester. A beautiful song that left me feeling as if I was on top of a mountain breathing in that fresh air, ready to take on whatever life throws at me.
This was the first video I saw of Kishi Bashi:

Much love also to the amazing opener, Plume Giant. My second time seeing them this year.
